My recent stay at Maya Guest House in Sighnaghi was an absolute delight! Nestled in the charming old centre, the location strikes the perfect balance-close enough to the action yet blissfully quiet. The room we stayed in was spacious and immaculate, offering all the comforts you could hope for, including a fabulous shower that made unwinding after a day of sightseeing a true pleasure. Maya herself is a gem. She went above and beyond, not just serving us a delicious buffet breakfast with delightful Georgian pancakes, but also arranging free shuttle services that made our travels seamless. The warmth and hospitality we received made it feel like home away from home, bolstered by the beautiful views from the terrace where we enjoyed our cups of tea. For those adventurers looking to explore more than just the stunning landscapes, there's horse riding and fishing nearby, adding a dose of local culture to your stay. If you find yourself in Sighnaghi, Maya Guest House is an absolute must-where the food is brilliant, the ambiance is welcoming, and the host treats you like family! I'd happily return with fellow archaeologists on the hunt for cultural treasures.
